hope sb to do sth是错的？

S:老师,hope后面不可以跟sb. to do sth?类似的动词还有哪些？

T: 不能用于此类复合宾语结构的动词有很多，所以我们分二种情况：

第一种情况：汉语就说不通，那英语也不会通，此类动词无需刻意记忆；

第二种情况：汉语说得通，但英语不可以这样用，比如：

“希望某人做某事”

不可以说hope sb. to do sth,

但可以说wish sb to do sth.

此类动词受汉语思维影响，易误用，需刻意记忆与学习。

所以总结如下：

hope, suggest, propose, insist, promise, refuse, agree, demand, fear, approve, inform, arrange

S: 老师，以上这些动词后不可以跟sb to do sth, 那具体应该怎么用？

T: 具体用法如下:

1. hope to do sth/hope that从句

但是：expect/wish sb to do sth.

2. suggest doing sth /suggest that...

但是：advise doing/advise that.../ advise sb to do sth.

3.propose(建议)sth to sb/propose that.../propose doing sth

4. insist that.../insist on doing sth.

(insist后只能接从句作宾语）

5. promise sb sth/promise to do sth/ promise (sb) that...

6.refuse sb sth/ refuse to do sth.

7.agree to do sth/agree with sb或sth/agree on sth/agree that...

8.demand to do sth/demand that.../ demand of sb to do sth

但是：require/request sb to do sth

9. fear to do sth/ fear that...

10. approve of sb/sth

认同某人/赞成某事

11.inform sb about/of sth;

inform sb that...通知某人某事

但是：tell sb to do sth.

12.arrange to do sth/arrange that/ arrange for sb to do sth. 安排某人做某事
